Milwaukee is one of the largest cities in the Midwest with a population nearly at 600,000 living in the city limits. If you expand into the greater Milwaukee (also known as the Milwaukee metropolitan area), you expand that population to well over 2 million people. That tells you there's a huge mix of culture, ethnicity and history here. As a beautiful city located along Lake Michigan, it's provided residents with both longevity and opportunity dating all the way back to the early 1800s when settlers first began passing through the area.
Milwaukee is home to plenty of historic neighborhoods also. Many have been on the upturn for the past few decades including the Historic Third Ward, Walker's Point, Downer Woods, Bay View and more. These great areas are attracting new residents and small businesses as the city promotes growth in these historic areas.
